N: I have a 20yr old Honda Accord with around 200K miles on it. I would buy a drop in replacement car, if Honda made it. The new Accord is too big to fit into my garage, and the new Civic is under-powered and the Si while pretty awesome is Std only which for me is awesome, but my wife will not drive a std.

Starts at $41,200. It uses the Mazda3's platform, and the same roof mechanism as the old Ford Focus. So why is it $6,000 more than a VW EOS?

It could be that LA and SF have fairly nasty traffic and a density of carpool lanes high enough to justify buying a car that will let you use them.

Yup, Florida and Tennessee based racers are going to stomp the crap out of California drivers.

You don't cross a street like this because you want to. This is bad urban design. There is something on the other side of this freeway that these people needed. In a fit of jealousy, I say good. How dare Ford Australia bogart all the awesome RWD falcons and leave us poor Sepos ('mericans) with sad Tauruses. I also demand they stop making Utes if they are not going to let me have a new Ranchero.

So, beards are the thing now? I guess I should stop shaving.

I am in Ventura County, CA I am looking for a CJ 7 or 8 or a square headlight wrangler with 6 cyl and a manual xmsn.

“The reason that the rich were so rich, Vimes reasoned, was because they managed to spend less money.

With the proper lighting and photo-shopping (as demonstrated here) that shit could be Naugahyde. Oh those poor Naugas.

The Mullin Museum in Oxnard

has a large collection of furniture made by Carlo Bugatti. The furniture is gorgeous but has no crossover styling elements from his cars.
Having talented designers branch out can improve their design skills so I am all for this move.
However this chair

I drive a couple of ratty mid 90's Japanese cars. No one in the building full of engineers is going to believe these old beasts are Hybrids.

Depends on how much the premium is. I would pay an extra grand for the improved parking spot at work.

I am sure it will make a lovely rental car, just like the last few years of Malibu and the other forgettable 4 door Chevy cars. Just like the Toyota and the Hyundai I get from time to time.
