If we are in the mood for some introspection, the worker exploitation that took place during our gilded age, along with the environmental havoc that ensued are not so different than what China is doing now. We came out ok, but the times were tough violent and the outcome was very much in question.

This is a stage in the industrialization of a country. China is learning what England learned in the Great Stink, The US learned in the 60's and 70's that led to the creation of the EPA.

If this was in the Ontario in LA instead of Canada, she would be mine. This suicide machine looks amazing.

That is a pretty good guide on post accident procedure. I will have to remember that when I get out of the 3 digit car club (where new tires double and a full tank adds 10% to the price)

Let me throw in a point for "Shit just works". I recently got into PC gaming. I buy stuff off steam, it works for a while then I have to go through and revalidate the files so that it will work for another couple of days before another tragic crash.

Perhaps the problem is that because cars are so very safe, they are disrespected in a way that puts everyone in danger.

This was the case that said that 'corporations are persons within the meaning of the Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States.' and all of the other bad cases that have expanded the definition have come after this one. This hoary case comes from way back in 1886 and is still fucking up the world

Then it is all good.

That expired last year except for EVs and plug ins

Just seems like Prius driver thing to do.

Check out his lawyers website, http://www.fordgreene.com/ this is pure activism and politics. It won't work mind you, but this was a pretty clever attempt. My bet is that there will be a narrow ruling that states that for the purpose of counting people corporations do not count in carpool lanes.

It doesn't say it anywhere in the article but I bet he was driving a Prius.

This man is looking to lose. It is a clever bit he trying to lose on as well. If he can get a high court to rule against his traffic ticket because corporations are not people perhaps we can roll back some of the insane corporate rights that have been put in place since things were screwed up by Santa Clara vs

I figure communal showers are the ones with the dividers, when it just a room with a munch of shower heads it gets to be a gang shower

You also need something to judge how tough the boss is. If I have an attack that does 5 x 9999 hp damage, but against the boss with 1,000,000 hp it seems pretty weak, unless earlier in the game you were slaughtering mooks with 300 hp with your sword that did 9 hp damage.

'fraid so. Especially in gang showers.

I still drink a little, beyond that my only drug is caffeine. I drank in the army and drastically cut back when I left. I was offered the IV chance after I was taught how to give an IV and had to take one for the class. I had an IV every year as part of training, having one after a party didn't seem like a big deal.

Drop the everyman, just call it a 1964 Custom Delux

It doesn't always take extreme drunkenness to get an extreme hangover (with some champagne I can get that hungover feeling before I finish my glass). You seem to be concerned with a loss of personal control and using pain as a feedback mechanism to limit deleterious effects.

Why are consequences important? Having fun without consequences is just having fun. If we could achieve the high of alcohol without the pain, why is that bad?
