I keep telling my kids it doesn't matter if they are gay or straight, I will always love them as long as they are rich and successful. (Cuz someone has to buy mama the GS cookies, amirite.)

My sister and I have money on whether or not that's how my mom will react when she tells her! Actually, we both pretty much have money on the fact that this is EXACTLY how she will react. Ha ha ha!

What I want to know is how I turned into a lesbian without girls scouts?! Oh. Right. Softball.

No they really should work on rebranding! It seems like they sort of keep their head down so they don't offend anyone though. It would be nice to see them take a stand and go the opposite way of the Boy Scouts who can't seem to find their asses with a flashlight and compass.
(And I say this a Christian. A very liberal

Yeh, the whole 'you need to be a gold star lesbian' thing is really disheartening. Thank you for your advice though, it's nice to be reminded that not everyone thinks that way and that things are, in fact, changing socially.

i'm conflicted about that commercial - it makes mse sad that the husband never even CONSIDERS cleaning, but stands there talking about how it's tough on his wife to mop the floors now that she's so old.

Gay, straight, bi, asexual, etc. don't we all just want to be as happy as the older couple in the Swiffer commercial? Whether alone, married, in a committed relationship or surrounded by 100 cats, that's the kind of giddy joy I aim for.

LOL MACKLEMORE THREAD LOL.

I'm always shocked at the number of people who believe that the Girl Scouts is a Chrisitan organization. News Flash: it never has been and I doubt it ever will be.

I worry about this, too. I'm not a lesbian. I'm bisexual (pansexual if you want to be all accurate and shit). I do think it hurts my chances with women (it has literally been years since I've been able to date a woman). But I figure if they're hung up on something like that, then they aren't the partner for me. I

I'm just dyyyyying to know what his vision of a girl-focused youth club promoting "biblical womanhood" looks like. I'm sure it requires BAKING cookies instead of selling cookies...because that's a woman's place, right?

Jeez, I'm sorry :( Basically online dating is worse for any non-heterosexual/non-white person. I generally block and move on, but sometimes it gets to be just plain depressing.

I was going for the fact that I found her, but she only found me. Your version is a little too cheaty for my life.

Met my boyfriend on OKCupid. It's been 3 years. He lived less than 2 miles down the road from me!

Wow, from the comments I see there's still a stigma. Meeting online is not that complicated or weird, folks. You find people who match on paper, then meet to see if there's chemistry. That's it. My problem was never with meeting men. My problem was hoping that rando cute dude is single, looking for a relationship, not

You lost me at "vegan cake".

I haven't had any luck with it yet, but I have noticed far more like-minded individuals than I would ever have a hope of meeting locally. So it does have that going for it.

I like this one better.
