Exactly. It’s a Tahoe with a nicer interior for 50% less money that drives like a sedan, which is exactly what people want.
Because an Ascent has a CVT, less warranty and a bland and basic interior. Ford has less warranty and nowhere near as nice of an interior.
It’s a good SUV. 100%. In Sept it was between the Telluride and the VW Atlas for me, and truth be told I like the look of the Telluride SX better. But to get one was a long wait and they were marking them up $3500 over sticker. It’s looks don’t outweigh that plus the Atlas being more comfortable and driving better. I…
I think it’s a lot of luxury car for not much money, even at MSRP.
Ah, the Nintendo sales model.
Attractive design with typical Kia value assuming you don’t pay markups in a currently hot (well, pre-pandemic) segment.
They’re pretty nice SUVs and they don’t look terrible.
The Telluride is awesome. It is a handsomely solid design without any weird aggressively crease-y gimmicks seen on almost every other design these days. Kia has shown it can be done - why is it so hard for all other automakers?
There’s a lesson here about our constant need for the next shiny new thing. Especially for us car enthusiasts.
It’s a good example of a front-to-back good design. It looks good all around. The best Continental since the 1960s, IMO.
I’m a “young” professional interested in a sedan in this size category, and the standard RWD is very attractive. It looks, uhhh, fine I guess, but most off-the-lot prices will be VERY close to a Model 3.
I dunno, going to what amounts to an extended party on the company dime will always be pretty popular.
I saw the seats and was like “mmmm” then I saw the number pad and asymmetrical vents and was like “ewwww”
It always made me angry
Money problems. It’s a design that predates the whole touchscreen thing. The phone pad and HVAC pictogram first showed up in the 2003 XC90. They got put on the “waterfall” center console in the 2005 S40/V50. Pretty nice in 2005, 11 years later not so much, even if it is easier to use than touchscreens.
