or when older cars have there ignition tumblers worn out, or a key is worn down from alot of use, almost any honda key could start the vehicle

theres only so many key cut combinations that can be mathematically possible, so there will be multiple cars with identical sets of keys....
I agree, but its just force of habit...
Thanks! stop by next time your in the store, ask for TJ!
your probably right, but the 8 speed isn't available until 2015 model year on all Vettes... as of 2014, they still use a tremec 6 cog box for the automatic... I think
figure a 1LT is more or less 50-55k... a loaded 3lt is about 75... I wouldn't order a 3lt, its kinda a waste of money if you ask me, the base 1lt Vette is super nice as it is
I very much agree with you, but in the specific case of the new Vette, this won't happen until at least the 2016 model year...
Camaro, SS, Corvette, are Tremec transmissions.... they also have some ZF gear boxes in the lineup too
its both knees, and I can't afford a Z06... not by a long shot...
COPO Camaro... but yeah its the track only version for drag racing, they don't even have VIN numbers, only serial numbers (i.e.: a part number) that cannot be registered or driven on the street
its gonna be behind glass on a turntable... but I get to sit in it tomorrow when I get to go to press day... one of the perks for selling Chevys!
im not mad at all tho... Im the Corvette salesperson for my dealership, so me not buying one, lets me sell the car I would buy at a discount, to a regular customer, and even without me charging the customer anything more than MSRP, that still would get me a profit of $7,000, where I would take home 25% of that...…
I own a 2011 Camaro SS thats had a few things done to it lol... its pushing about 500 give or take... but my buddy just bought a C7, so luckily I get to drive his whenever I want...
Its funny, even if I wanted to order a new C7 Vette, the dealer I work for (or any other for that matter) wouldn't take my order for a long time from now... The vette is so hot right now, (we have had 10 of them so far, each one has sold within 6 hours of coming off the truck) that my boss wouldn't even let me buy…
I wouldn't so much say they can't, because they, like almost every other OEM Manufacturer, source there transmissions from outside companies...
I work in sales for a Chevy dealer, I sold alot of the C6 427 convertible, which is basically a Z06 vert... its the natural progression for GM
I think thats the nastiest thing a Canadian has ever said, ever....
the vortec is a 6.0L the Camaro has a 6.2L
no they both have the badge and slats, it would say Vortec if it was gas, Durmax if diesel
