This is AMAZING!

NATURE = MISANDRY! It's all feminism's fault!

I thought the headline was a metaphor LOL!

I haven't read "ladymags" since I was a teenager. I remember that the publication Y&M would publish one serious article toward the end of each monthly issue after pages and pages of silly things about lipgloss and "mortifying" stories about getting your period all over your pants. I remember that I first learned about

Part of me also really does have to ask, what's the harm in protesting society's narrow standards of beauty? If you think this is just about the specific stores they are protesting in front of, you're missing the point.

I've come to resent holidays! They're just excuses to make money off of people. I'd much rather celebrate birthdays! The things you do for someone on her birthday aren't dictated by commercialism. You're celebrating one special person's life in the manner she chooses.

I hate those questions, too! I lost my dad 18 years ago and I'm still blown away when people ask me what I'm doing for Father's Day. I never ask people that question - even if someone's parents are still alive, you can't assume their relationship with their parents is still intact.

I'm so sorry! I lost my dad 18 years ago and it still hurts :-(

That and the fact that childcare duties fall disproportionately on women's shoulders are what's stopping me from reproducing.

He's probably the type of person to yell at people on his Facebook for using their Facebooks exactly the way they want to.

THIS!

To quote Tina Fey quoting Amy Poehler, "I don't care if you like it!"

Just looked at your other posts...TROLL ALERT!!!

What's a "modified tweet?"

"The new yOrK!er allows you to mix your thirst for celebrity gossip with your quest for intellectual betterment." —> Isn't this basically what Jezebel is?

Don't these people realize that this segment of the population is drastically decreasing in size with the rise in age of the baby boom cohort?

This explains a lot! Have there been any large-scale efforts to survey women regarding what they'd like to see in films? Since we're, you know, half the population, such a project would help inform the film industry about what people besides young men want to see! Sort of related, I've always loathed romantic

This sore lack of multifaceted women characters in movies is probably the main reason I don't like movies that much...The only director who's consistently made movies I've liked is Wes Anderson. I feel he takes many maladaptive aspects of masculinity and turns them on their head. For example, in The Life Aquatic,

Women live longer than men, so it's actually adaptive for us to pair off with younger men.

I thought that age-related decreases in female fertility was the variable responsible for men's preference for younger women...it doesn't make sense that men would just "naturally" prefer younger women other than the fact that they're more fertile.
