Ah, Gunn on Twitter said that Taika is NOT Starro. Hmm. Questions. Also, damn, would have been perfect.

Heads up, Cena is playing Peacemaker, not Guardian. First breakdown piece has it wrong.
Taika is absolutely the voice of Starro, isn’t he?
Free Fire and High Rise are two of my favorite films so I am here for this.
It’s something that kind of stuck with me since I read that in 2016, so had to share. Like, I personally do not care for and at times loathe Snyder’s choices as a filmmaker and his fake-ass looking effects layering, but fine. But he also keeps saying stuff that NEVER shows up in his films, but he doubles down on it…
Eh, apparently grieving is what makes Superman fall to the ALE, per Snyder according to io9:
Here we go:
He’s said as much. There’s a Complex or Collider article from 2016 where he says he had the Flash-visits-Bruce scene in BvS solely because he thought it was cool and didn’t have a plan at the time.
Pretty much this.
Didn’t Snyder say in his often contradictory and nonsensical meta interviews that Superman grieved Lois and THEN fell to the Anti-Life Equation?
That was the original plan, but they never actually cast or shot any Green Lantern stuff, per what Snyder has confirmed. He WANTED to use GL but he and the studio decided not to, but they shot Affleck’s scene back in 2017 with him talking to....no one on set. They added Lennix/MM in 2020. Snyder’s said he never shot…
Ah, apologies for not catching that. Well said. But also, yeah, in ZS’s vision, either Batman lets Lois die and escapes death from Darkseid, or somehow....stops Darkseid? C’mon.
That too!
I read it, hated it. And I would be amused seeing Snyder give Batman the radion bullet gun.
They would also, as well documented by the last few years and explored in a good Maggie Mae Fish video series, not actually engage with the content, say it’s satire or something, and do ad homynym attacks again without actually engaging with the material.
And they don’t address that in JL 2 I guess?
Yes! Thank you!
So if I’m reading this right, we get four films of his “five part trilogy” that show the Knightmare future, which isn’t actually set up until part 4/JL 2, and it’s all running concurrently to the “present” arc but doesn’t pay off until part 5/JL3? And meanwhile the Knightmare from part 2/BvS isn’t canon because Batman…
Pretty much this. WTF?
With them apparently forgetting Lois is pregnant in the third part and not addressing it until the fifth?
