This makes a huge amount of sense, and works especially well since the Empire was founded at the close of the Clone Wars, where the Republic was fighting the Separatists’ droid army. Of course they’d make their infrastructure safe from droid sabotage.

Yeah, I had the same thought. The basic plan was the commandos set the charges on multiple platforms in case a distraction was needed, and to divert troopers away from the cargo shuttle, which was their getaway. Cassian and co. got deep into the complex, but to get to archive had to get the troopers away. So things go

I was expecting Donnie Yen to be awesome in this, because, well, it’s Donnie Yen as a blind asskicker in a Star Wars film, but I wasn’t expecting to be this grinning, charming, snarky badass. They could have easily gone with a stoic monk type thing, but no, they gave us this fully dynamic, fleshed out, charming as

Sweet potato fries and chimichurri. It works surprisingly well.

I can’t help but think of “Angel” and think of the film Snatch. But yeah, that was great. Or just Digitalism’s “Miami Showdown” when Reese rampages through that hotel to get to Quinn. Pure Batman.

The first half of season one is kind of non-essential. You can watch episodes 1, 2, skip 3-8, then jump back in. More important stuff starts happening with 9.

“Lonely Souls” at the end of Reese’s flashback to Ordos was insane.

I’d say season 2 is more essential than not. Less filler, lots of good arcs (Stanton, etc).

Let’s just say season two starts strong and midway through the government conspiracy and black ops stuff take center stage.

Is she running it though? She’s just supposed to be the “most popular” of those Hosts, and seems to be trying to pick up clientele. She was with William because Logan set him up with her.

Yeah, I realized that when I rewatched the pilot. The gunslinging bandit robot dressed all in black...that’s Hector, not Harris’s the Man in Black. I didn’t even think of that the first time. This show is clever.

Ed Harris is both, and awesome.

Funny enough, Ed Harris was the only character in the pilot to be explicitly labeled as human. For all that we know, the staff could all be robots.

That’s something I’m considering. We’re meant to think rape early on, but the piano player scalping means that maybe he did that to her too.

The only way this could be better is if it was taken at a winery.

That was pretty dope.

Jesus, this is amazing. I need a thriller about trying to find it.

California has better tacos.

“If it was just me I’d agree. But what about Teal’c? Come on! Is this the face of a crazy man?”

“How far away is that planet?”
