I believe Curley has already stepped down. But don't dare call Paterno a scapegoat. Read a little further down the comments......Ppl are at my door with god damned pitchforks and torches.

It's not utter nonsense. My position has been the same since the first post I made. What, because I didn't specifically map out every last specific detail I'm thinking at the moment about the topic, I'm changing my tune?

I always maintained that I was disappointing in Paterno for not doing more. Its sad because I thought he was better than that.

And I'm incredibly disappointed that Paterno didn't do more.

If you throw out the fact that he completely misunderstood me, than yeah, great comment.

Wow, you just wrote a whole bunch of outraged shit that is totally off base with what I'm saying. I'm not even going to read the majority of it because obviously you misunderstood what I'm saying and flew way off the reservation on this one. Ok, fine I read the whole thing anyway, and wow. Holy misunderstanding

So what I ask is so wrong about being sad and disappointed by this tragic turn of events? The man did great things and will only be remembered for one very ugly mistake.

@Raysism: What if I said I do have a child? smarty pants. Again, Sandusky is the accused, not Paterno. I'm not saying the University shouldn't remove him, but I'm sad and disappointed that it has come to this. What is so wrong about that?

Than be outraged at the man who committed the crime.

So I can't be disappointed and sad that one mistake is going to ruin this man who has done so many wonderful things for players and students over 33 years coaching a major university footballs team? He wasn't diddling kiddies btw, it was his friend who is accused after he had left Penn State and moved on.

hahaha ok, not bad. One goat usually does it though haha.

As far as I'm concerned with comedy, nothing is ever off limits.....but I'm feeling nothing but sad for Joe. This could kill him when its all said and done.

It doesn't make it any less disappointing that a storied coaching career is going to end in the midst of a child endangerment case. The man did great things for countless number of students and all of that gets thrown out the window because he was too stupid, or afraid, or too loyal to his friend to do the right

That's just sad. One wrong decision, or off decision or whatever it was and there goes your career. Paterno should have retired already sure, but its unfortunate that his exit from the university comes with so much ugliness surrounding it.

I think he knows Merle has something to do with it and is playing cat and mouse with him. Remember, he's an excellent tracker. He would have seen Merle's footprints while he was following the girls trail. I think he saw his brothers footprints, put two and two together, and is trying to find him and the girl first

I figured he would grind them down and use them as a bonding agent for his slippery dentures.

Eli will have to win three more Super Bowl's and then people will be like, "Well, alright, maybe he's not as bad as I thought". But that's it.

Fulton has an incredible record. I don't mean that he has a great win percentage because the guys that do stand out on his list are mostly losses. But, I'm blown away by the number of fight he's had. Fighting 20+ times in a year is pretty impressive and he's done that a number of years. Pretty wild, especially

I was saying that last week, minus him being responsible for the zombie herd. I've thought he's kidnapped her for a while now. You can't drag out a story line for 6 weeks using a character that no one cares about, without attaching something extra to that story line. Sophia can't simply return unharmed or be found

I think its great that we get to see all of this from Peter's perspective really. At this point, the viewer knows more about this universe and the shape shifters, and Walternate (and his entire universe) than the rest of the Fringe team. I think that's a really risky thing to do with a show where instead of being on
