I’m all for being frugal and driving old cars, but that Impala sounds like a rolling hazard to you, everyone else on the road, and the environment. A well-maintained old car is one thing, but a dangerous crap can is a whole other matter.

No one’s being forced into new cars. It’s easier than ever to find used cars in basically any price range.

Perhaps I’m misunderstanding but you found Ford GT’s for 60k? I dont recall ever seeing those that cheap. They basically started going up almost immediately as I recall.

Well said, I like the new mid-tier spec luxury sports cars. I want a soft, comfy luxo-barge that also can go fast on the highway. If I want a fun sports car drive, I’ll get in my 4C. I’m interested in this new CT5-V. Although I would love to see it as a wagon (I was sad when Merc said that Canada wouldn’t get the E53…

This is a awesome post and a reminder if you think you’re not going to stay in that vehicle 10+ years has to be considered.

No one is forcing anyone to buy something they can’t afford. And I’m not talking about predatory practices from lenders or shady dealers, that is a whole other story.

Please just stop reporting about this car every week.  Wait for the figures and actual photos of the car to be released for once.    It’s the same crap over and over.  Make one great article about the car once its finally revealed the correct way, the way the consumer will actually get it at the dealership.

In other words the 9.X figure was achieved with the track lathered in sticky track prep so sticky that it’ll pull your shoe right off. Nobody can hope to replicate that on a regular surface.

My girlfriend is a nurse in an ICU. No idea how she does it, she loses patients on a daily basis. People you spend weeks/months with trying to help recover. Tremendous respect for those in the medical community working to help save these young boys and girls. Fucking brutal job.

V8 Wagons do rule, especially when they are also supercharged.....it is a shame that we don’t get these here, but if that’s what you seek, for half the money, you can get more hp, more torque (and in my mind, better looks), with a 2nd hand CTS-V Wagon. The ultimate family hauler!
