I’m not going to say it looks like an Aztek, but I think of a Pontiac before I think of Lamborghini when I see this. I would much rather have seen the Asterion concept come to production over this thing. Maybe I will change my mind when I see one in person, but for now the Lambo design language isn’t working on this…

Crack Pipe - too many kms for the price. Earlier in the summer the same spec CTSV wagon with just under 60,000kms was asking $46,000. The car you referenced started with an asking price of $56 or $58,900 he was asking the moon! I live in Airdrie and own a stick CTSV wagon.

2011 is the first MY for wagon, a cult like following has kept the wagon values higher compared to similar coupe or sedan V’s.
in two years of watching the V wagon market the least expensive wagon I’ve ever seen was a 2011 with 91,000 miles - it was actually a silver one that was advertised as “Jalopnik special” the car was from Michigan. It would be near impossible to find a sub $30 k V wagon...but I do like the suggestion.
I worked as a contractor for Ford during the MyFord Touch launch back in 2010/2011 ish. I spent 4 months travelling across Alberta performing tutorials for sales and service staff at Ford dealerships. I literally needed to carry a 10mm socket in order to disconnect the battery as the system would regularly crash…
A base Rubicon Unlimited starts @ $38,000 (even the 2 door is $34,000)today before any tax or options. The diesel 3.0 is a $4500 option on a Grand Cherokee. I think we can assume it’s at least a 40k Jeep.
yup, targa chrome comes to an angular point, whereas other models have a moe rounded chrome accent.
There are good and bad, if I was considering an aftermarket warranty on a used car I would speak to service advisors about the brand before pulling the trigger. They are the guys on the front line making the phone calls for approvals and generally know which ones are worth the money.
Fair enough I do agree its an odd offering for the car; perhaps you would prefer the “Stealth Blue” on the v wagon(again a 1 year only colour” or Opulent Blue Metallic.
The colour certainly ins’t for everyone. I like it for its rarity and complete counter-intuitive nature - Grandma colour indeed; but not your Grandmas car!
I agree with your overall statement, but not for the V wagon. Currently the Wagon holds a premium over coupe and sedan. We will see what the future holds...
I’ve watched the V wagon market for 18 months in Canada - this is only the third manual wagon. I bought the first one I saw 2011 with 4200kms for $55,0000. There was a second 2011 with 16,000kms and he was asking $62,000 this is now the third and its been posted a couple weeks. I think he is asking a touch too much.
you can press one button on the dash and change to readout from KM/H to MPH and KM’s to Miles.
I honestly think Wagons will do better than sedan and coupe counterpart. Rarity help the value.
