Why can I recycle a beer bottle, but not a drinking glass?

When the sponge makes your hand smell funny when you’re done washing dishes, that’s a pretty good sign its time to swap.

When did sponges become so prohibitively expensive? The best way to clean your sponge? A NEW SPONGE! When the sponge gets gross, throw it in the trash (or recycle if applicable) and buy new sponges.

My method:
1) Put gross sponge in garbage
2) Get new sponge from under sink
3) (optional) If running low on sponges buy a new pack of sponges for like $5 seriously guys.

Stop trying to clean your sponges.

If it stinks of mildew, throw it out.

Sponges are cheap. It is not worth your valuable time or the cost of water and cleaning supplies to clean them.

That is all.

Sponges cost less than a dollar. And that’s for the fancy ones with the scrubby thing on them.
