Definitely head to Howth for a day trip if you get sick of Temple Bar. It's a great little fishing village about a half hour (if I remember correctly) on the Irish Rail from Dublin. Best seafood I've had in several trips to Ireland. I'm planning to stay in this area for a few days during my next trip.
