GlitterbombGF and I were food shopping yesterday, and when we were loading the groceries in the car, there was some little shitbag doing back handsprings in the parking lot next to her mom’s car. Just back handspring after back handspring on an endless loop. She may have been part GIF.
I’ve been doing CrossFit for 3 years (yes, I’m fully aware that I’m a giant jock strap) and finally got my first strict pull up about 3 months ago. RIDICULOUSLY hard. I can do 8 chin ups and now 3 pull ups, but that’s on a good day. And I can’t do one chest-to-bar pull up and I’m pretty sure I never will.
I worked out with a trainer for two years and was down to about 19% body fat and the closest I ever got was doing one on the assisted machine with a 30lb counterweight. So basically you are a pull-up hero to me.
Pullups are stupid difficult if you haven’t trained specifically for them/ are overweight.
Little kids are the best with their fearless running & jumping skills.
