I use eWeather HD. I honestly don't remember what it cost when I purchased it, but the main feature I was looking for (and one that is very difficult to find) was push notifications of severe weather alerts. I think the layout is very cool as well, and I'm glad with my purchase. I needed something that had this

You may be able to work around it if you can set a timer on the passcode. Mine is set to 5min and I wasn't told to disable it. I had typed it in, started the jailbreak process, it went through fine, and made me unlock it when it needed me to.

Ahhh, ok. Still, though. I remember when it was "download the update, hack it, then flash it to the phone" so it's come a long way! XD

I don't really see how it's possible to have less than one step... you plug in your phone and click a button. Even then, I was also commenting on the aesthetics. Absinthe's solution was very ugly. This is not.

Okay, I may not be jailbreaking anymore since I don't see the point in it with the revisions to the OS over the years (although I do it now and again just for the heck of it) but I will say that is SO MUCH PRETTIER than every other solution I've seen in the past. Also, 1,000 easier. No special "choose your device"

TECHNICALLY you can do that, but the handles are so floppy, I'm not sure. I tried a similar technique years ago when I was living in a finished attic. There was a trapdoor that led to the garage, so I would literally use a fishing rod and snag the plastic loops on cans of pop rather than traipse all the way through

I've been tempted to try this where I live, as you have to walk roughly the length of the house twice to take out the trash. It becomes annoying when cleaning things out and having a lot of trash. The downside is that if you DO happen to miss the trash can, you will have a huge mess to clean up. If you have someone

Does not support Snow Leopard or earlier (in case anyone was wondering) so I'll have to wait until I get home to use it. Sadly, at work, unless we also want to upgrade pretty much all of our software I can't upgrade to mountain lion. Much as I would like to.

Thank you. That was incredibly confusing. The link in the article really should be updated.

Hmmm, might be worth a shot then. Thanks.

LOL, I had to read your post a couple times. For some reason I kept reading "you're a moron" and missing the word "not" in the first sentence, so it wasn't making sense to me.

Good catch! ;)

So, I signed up, and I hope it actually worked that I get an invite within a few days. I'm curious to potentially try this out, though I'm not certain if I'd want to go with this or with another of the plentiful services. I'm just getting tired of my local banks here.

I can't imagine the color and tint thing works all that great, especially inside a home, and definitely not at night. I've seen my photos on my iPhone come out wildly tinted ways.

I'm sorry, but that looks like the most complicated, random, and just plain ugly set of programs I've ever seen. Every time I see an app using Windows 8's styling I just... I don't like it. Bright colors everywhere, oversized buttons... Why?

I figured this out one day while getting to the bottom of my fried rice. Since I'm okay with chopsticks but not AMAZING I don't eat fried rice with them. I like to use a fork. That makes it annoying as you get to the end of the food in those boxes, especially if you're eating fried rice. SO I rip them apart, as

Bow chicka wow wow

I'm sorry, but I must say that your comment made me laugh like hell. I live in northern Ohio, and snow is completely normal for us, but sometimes it feels like the driving thing happens around here with the very first snow of the year each winter.

You guys should read your own site once in a while. Seems like there has been a LOT of repeat posts. A simple search for "wax" would've shown you this: http://lifehacker.com/5972434/waterproof-any-canvas-bag-with-wax

"...if you need to replace the slider because it's not closing the teeth right, then you need to replace the slider." This bit amused me.
