If you go and look at the actual filters and their descriptions it's far more than just scanlines. They're talking about color mixing, pixel artifacts, RGB contrast, and more. Hell, the article above even mentions the "bleeding colors". You should take a look at stuff before you start typing in all caps. ;)

Agreed, I just got my iPhone 4S and was ECSTATIC when I realized I wasn't booted out to the lockscreen while it updated.

Well, of course, here in America if someone with 80 billion dollars gives a million dollars to a charity they make headlines whereas someone with $20 to their name dropping a few pennies in a charity jug is ignored. Since the multibillionaire still has $79,999,000,000 they have to spend it somehow.

I guess what's getting to me are the people who are downright complaining about it. I mean, even if it's not automatic... when you get home, tell it to sync, and then set it down wherever you normally do. A lot of people are pointing out it can sync just find without having to be plugged in. I realize it's an

Beautiful, thank you. I'm plenty familiar with creating custom ringtones and loading them onto the iPhone, but previously you couldn't change the message tones to whatever you wanted, just the tri-tone and maybe half a dozen others if I remember correctly. I had been jailbreaking for this feature back when I had an

Ahhh, that makes a bit more sense. The main reason it doesn't seem to be such a hassle, to me, is that when I go to bed at night, I plug in my phone. In my bedroom. Far from my computer, which is on pretty much 24/7. So my phone will update every night anyways. I don't use the clocks or sound system things, so I

I've run Windows machines for years at a time. The only time they went down was to reboot when I got updates. Windows doesn't run like crap until you put things on it that make it become unstable. I've had Linux machines crash on me the same as Windows or Mac. Usually, when any of my machines crash, it's either

Google DID create a multi-touch software keyboard for Android. No one else did it. His comment was correct. The article didn't say that Apple came up with the idea, nor that it was completely original and something no one's ever seen before. The article even attributes the concept to Android. But Google didn't

Man, I JUST NOW saw your entire username. And I have to say that would be a hilarious move.

"This doesn't mean you can get a new iPhone for $0.01, unfortunately."

Reminds me of Super Troopers. "*takka, takka, takka* Enhance... *takka, takka, takka* Enhance... *takka, takka, takka* Enhance..." "Just print the damn thing!"

Or, you know, just hired the guy who actually created it for iOS... with inspiration from Android... but that's just too many words.

"Allows separate alert sounds for mail, calendar, reminder, texts and calls (and when you change the volume it is now subtitled 'sound effects')"

This is exactly what I kept thinking. Gee, I charge my damn phone AT LEAST every other day. It used to be I'd sync it once a month if I was lucky. Now, it'll always be synched and all my stuff will be backed up to my computer. How is this "OMG SUCH A HASSLE!"?

"USB Guard is completely portable, so you don't need to install anything to run it." Yes, you just put it on the USB drive and run it when you plug it in.

Apparently you don't live where I do... because mine does, and it doesn't come unsealed.

You could try www.ezrss.it, which creates an RSS feed for whatever you search for, then add the RSS feed to your torrenting app of choice. I've had some minor issues with it in the past (not catching new episodes or suddenly adding the last 20 episodes even though I already had them), but that could just as easily be

From their description of the "Timeline" feature, via your link, it seems to be replacing the profile page, not the news feed the way you seem to describe. And, to be honest, I actually kind of like the look of that. If they ARE planning to do that to my main newsfeed, however, I'm sticking to G+ because that looks

Yeah, I understand. Was just trying to keep your hopes up. :)

I'll tell you right now, if somoene physically attacks you, and you stand there and stare at them as if daring them to do it again, it's VERY effective. I think Jesus had the right mentality. Punch the guy back? Eh, I'd rather stand and look at them as if it didn't affect me, perhaps ask if they're finished now.
