@SerenaB: When I spotted that last night it was the PC version. There may be a copy of the Mac version if you run a search, though.

@the_boffin: The post Kevin links to explains that, although they are click-through they're a nuisance when using IM "buddy" lists and closing maximized windows. Even though they do allow you to click-through, it just feels... wrong. The few times I've played with Ubuntu after they added the notification feature it…
Huh, surprisingly I don't see print shops listed on there, and yet we always have at least a few boxes lying around. Paper boxes are perfect for moving as they are side-bound and not bottom-bound so they can carry a much heavier load. Also, if you use them for smaller items they don't get lost under the flaps at the…
@terabitten: Aye, deja vu. I'm pretty sure this was covered on this very site sometime as recent as last week. o.O #grammar
@dajmeister: Agreed. I just tried it out and then immediately shut it off. I love the look of Expose in general, but it's significantly quicker to just click an app and see what windows I have open in it than it is to click-hold-wait-then look.
I like the overall look, but I hate the complete lack of lines in these designs, it renders them unusable to me.
@MCWHAMMER: That's EXACTLY what I was thinking... Continue until it's what? Kind of a half-assed article.
@Alessar: This is my issue with these "hidden menu" items. Not everyone at every store knows about them, that they exist, or that they're available. Often times they're menu items that were once available and have been removed. Many older employees will gladly do some tricks with the cash register and get you what…
Agreed, I believe this should be done with absolutely any written work. It breaks up the work so that you don't just "go with the flow" and accidentally read over mistakes because you know what you MEANT to say, and aren't really reading what you DID say.
@AmphetamineCrown: I think it was a jab at the small red things growing in little clusters being bad. They told you what they are, look them up. ;) They're not truly poisonous.
@sound2man: Was wondering that, myself. It is an Apple desktop. Dunno if that has anything to do with anything.
This is one thing I've recently discovered about Apple. If I call to get information, or go by their store (sure, I have to make an appointment, but that actually makes more sense than just waiting in line) I can find out what I need to know quickly and easily without wasting a lot of my time. I've tried to call…
SO glad this is for the Mac, too. I do graphic design work in a print shop and this king of thing is a godsend. Next time I get "Can you's guys blow this thing up and do stuff" I'm going to have to try this out.
I know people probably won't agree with me, but I'm amazed at how often an ad-funded website suggests ad-blocking software. :/ I actually think that Google's ads are the least intrusive I've ever seen. I mean, it's not like they've ever thrown in random stuff to my news feed from a fake blog about vampires or…
@Jason Fitzpatrick: You have to remember that in the last several years the general processor speeds have actually capped, and even moved backwards with the concept of dual- and quad-core computing. A 4ghz processor was huge just a couple years ago, and now most dual-cores rarely run faster than 2.2 (and the slight…
This means you shouldn't hesitate to haggle where appropriate.
@jda10487: I'm relatively sure that PlaysOneOnTV meant that as a joke.
@gover57: It's likely there is a nest somewhere that it can't be seen. I've found nests in very unlikely places, and generally following the insect won't necessarily lead you to their nest if that's not where they're going.
@Yanguang: That's exactly what I thought when I saw a gallery called "Summer eats" and there was a dog standing on the table...
@Steven Lichtenthal: Frankly, I've found that it's more work than it's worth. I've found very little to be desired out of the jailbreak apps and/or themes, etc. that I've been able to find. I jailbroke my iPhone twice, and both times I did it for a specific reason. Over time, I used the abilities less and less…
