Tampons and condoms all go to the same place eventually!

Star Trek Fangirl #2 totally looks like a less-awesome version of Annalee Newitz, right? I'm not just making that up?

All of the other commenters are also correct, but RuPaul has specified an indifference toward pronouns: “You can call me he. You can call me she. You can call me Regis and Kathie Lee; I don’t care! Just as long as you call me.”

However, we have missed one awesome thing in this otherwise shitty story: her husband is a "space attorney".

Seriously. He's amazing. I have this one saved in my "desktop images" folder.

Riley, Terry (kind of), Alex, Taylor. I met a girl named Tyler the other day and thought it worked really well.

Really? I'd at least say Logan is still ambiguous or mostly male. Quinn and Morgan I think you could argue.

My office was just hiring for a new position, and almost all of the resumes we received had photos. My coworker who was processing them didn't understand either.

Roll, not role. Dammit.

This is why, though teachers saying "oh, I was looking for a boy!" during role got old (and also I got a letter from Selective Service reprimanding me for not registering for the draft), I will never not be grateful to my parents for giving me a gender-neutral name. I'm willing to put up with a few "Mr. Lastname"

As both someone with a gender-neutral name and someone who has used "Ms." instead of "Mr.", I can attest to this. I was a little confused when I got an email a while back addressed to "Mr. Lastname", since my dad is a teacher and is regularly referred to by that.

And it's not even that she doesn't like them—she's low-carb paleo now, so she doesn't eat grains and rarely eats fruit (also almost no dairy, so ice cream is pretty much out too). I feel like I shouldn't judge, since I don't eat bacon or pulled pork or other

Today I found out that my mother bought a Macbook. She also doesn't eat cake (or pie!).

Hang in there. I feel like eventually anyone who is not a horrible person should eventually be approved. At least, that's what I like to think.

Pretty much. Only with more sass, trolls, and booze.

You get approved on a comment-by-comment basis when enough people recommend them and/or approved commenters recommend them. (I just starred your comment, and now it's black.) To get automatic approval, you have to get Jezebel or one of the authors to follow you by being a regular and generally decent commenter (the

Now playing

I started listening to a lot of French pop last fall when I was writing papers and happened to have a Carla Bruni album somehow (less distracting since I don't know all the words) but still listen to it because I'm going abroad in September (and enjoy it in general). Right now, though, I really love this song by Mika

She's beautiful! Glad to hear she found a good home with people who could deal with her cranky ways.
