Scirocco R definitely a cheaper hot hatch alternative than Ferrari FF and it’s VW so it should be much cheaper to run

Prices are “estimated” so there are still no actual figures yet. Actual deliveries to people who aren’t hand picked Tesla cultists or influencers are also “estimated” to get their Cybertrucks next year. Real world range for Tesla is typically about 25% less than published, so these are terrible numbers. This was the

Obvious answer:

Yeah... not going to watch a video to learn what I could have read in 30 seconds.

Video only is not a great format for these.

It’s interesting how perception is everything. The 959 is notably slower than a current base Porsche 911 by every metric other than in top speed. I suspect the old car feels faster because the modern car is MUCH more refined and does it all with much less drama - and an automatic transmission (ugh). The current 911

People need to know. Thanks

I’ve test driven a couple before Elon’s latest stuff turned me off completely. The buttons for indicators are actually decent, and fairly easy to get used to, but fuck the Yoke itself is such a garbage idea. Fine on the highway, I guess, but absolutely GARBAGE at every single other driving task.

I’m sure the price cuts for the S & X are partially due to people not wanting anything to do with this stupid yoke and the lack of a turn signal stalk.

I feel like late 90s Ferraris are all unfairly maligned. They were just *pretty*. I hate not just post-Pininfarina, but also post-Enzo (the car) Ferrari designs when Ferraris started to slip back in to *notice me* shouty designs. I must be the only person who didn’t like the 360 to F430 transition, for example. Oh and

I felt almost exactly the same with the 360. It’s the only Ferarri I have played with the idea of buying. Until recently, you could have gotten great examples for maybe $70k. Now everything is expensive and not worth it, but one can dream of better days.

I was surprised they weren’t mentioned either lol. I think it was such an obvious choice that everyone just thought someone else would mention it.

Wait. We’re including the ‘97 Dodge Caravan but not including anything from Subaru or Jeep? Now the Jeep I can excuse - 4WD isn’t AWD after all. But Subaru? Has this site lost its mind?

Teslas have to be self-driving.

EVs really don’t have anything like the differentiation that ICE cars do. Not simply because they are all quiet and linear in their power delivery, but also because they’re all pretty heavy. You can spend more money disguising the weight of an EV with advanced suspension, but you can’t create something that truly

A bit more nimble for sure, but that’s basically it...and faster

I’m not really an engine guy, but to me the best argument for EVs being “soulless” comes from my daughter. She’s not quite 2, but she loves riding in the Tacoma and Transit that we have much more than the Volvo. Every morning she asks for the Tacoma. The reason? As she says, the Taco goes “vroom vroom.”

People tend to anthropomorphize ICE vehicles because of subconscious similarities. The engine is a heart. It moves. It beats. You can feel it. This gives cars a finite lifespan humans can connect with. It will only work for so long before it breaks. Like us.

He has been driving EV (in different form) for 18 years, which obviously he likes and also owned a Mclaren F1 and multiple others cars. If there is a guy who probably know what he is talking about and can compare, he is probably one of these.

When comparing EVs to ICE it’s actually pretty valid.
