"About half a year ago, our lawyers recommended us to register "Minecraft" as a trademark, so we did. I had voted against it initially, but we did it anyway. Better safe than sorry, and all that. At the same time, we also applied for "Scrolls", the new game we’re working on. We knew of no similarly named games, and we

I'm pretty certain he had already mentioned that earlier, tho maybe not in his blog.

You might want to reconsider where you buy your mayonnaise. :P

Sticky white stuff.

I only had trouble with Flamelurker. If that's the guy you had trouble with, I can guarantee you the remaining bosses aren't nearly as bad. The game however was very fair. If you tread every level carefully, always on the lookout for ambushes/traps, and you take your time to learn the combat and observe your enemies,

"I'm not going to storm out of a movie because there's an awkward plug for Pepsi, but it certainly lessens the experience." ... "There's no artificial line for games at all - I expect it to be held to the same standard."

Hehe, almost anything you buy today is branded, so I'm pretty certain you enjoy quite a lot of stuff that has ads in it, unless you live under a rock and do not interact with society in any way.

Oh no. I was reminded of something. My life is ruineeeeeed. Etc.

Other than raising brand awareness on you, it has no effect whatsoever. I'm pretty certain that by this point you are already familiar with the Subway brand, in which case seeing it in a videogame will not have any effect on you at all. I also didn't say that it has you worked up, I'm just saying that if you find

Drama queen much? Seriously guy, it literally has no effect on you. And the fact that something quite as simple as that distracts and irritates you is incredibly sad, as you are most definitely trying too hard to deliberately be irritated by things at this point. Take a deep breath and appreciate life.

It's a completely arbitrary and unreasonable rule you have there. What exactly is wrong with advertising, if it in the end helps the developer in some way, and is being done in about as non-intrusive way as possible? Do you also complain when they bring in character skins from other games? When they use real world

In single player, yes. But this is multiplayer only. I can't imagine anyone finding the Uncharted MP immersive when you can stumble upon several clones of the same character at any given time. If that doesn't break the immersion of the game for you, then a Subway t-shirt shouldn't even make a dent on it, as it's far

Now playing

It's not that bad, guy. I would understand in a game like Battlefield where immersion is still a huge part of the multiplayer, but that's not the case in uncharted. Definitely not a good reason to not buy a game, unless you weren't interested in it in the first place in which case that should really be the main

Getting a + subscription ends up being cheaper for you than just buying the games as they are tho. I got a $50 one year sub recently. Got the first 3 RE games for free, that's $11 in value, plus a $10 discount for RE4 HD, so that's $21 accounted for in a single week, with an entire year of offers and free games to

"Bradford pleaded guilty to one count of assault, and he is currently waiting to be sentenced. Apparently, he is a family acquaintance of the 13-year-old."

For a second there I thought that first image was water, with a half bear, half giant squid monster coming out of it. Videogames need more Giant Bearsquids.

It's GENIUS. :O

Will be much easier to carry Gnome Chompski that way. :p

It was a lot of work, but I didn't get tired of it. It was strangely fun, and extremely satisfying when I finally got to the end of it. :p

IIRC, it's the part where you have to use a crane to move containers/the buggy around, then you fight some combine, and then a gunship appears. I think, it's been a while since I took that screenshot. :p
