Oh come on. Metal Gear has been this way since the beginning, if the silliness was a detriment to the series it would have never caught on in the first place. All relevant stats are known to the player on a competitive level game. There is no stat that a developer could know that would give them any sort of advantage over a pro gamer, otherwise the game would be crazy imbalanced and not played on a competitive level. Practice, strategy and skill is what gets you ahead.
