As always when I weigh in on BRF topics, I’m ashamed at the level of detail lodged in my brain ... but Princess Margaret’s son David uses the surname Linley, not Armstrong-Jones.

I’m just more amused by the fact these two are apparantly showering together.
I vaguely had to work with them when I was in the mailroom of their management company (they were one of the few clients to actually answer the door when I came) but they were always so sweet and Channing was always so shirtless. This hits me hard.
I still haven’t given up on those two. The divorce papers haven’t been signed yet, and this wouldn’t be the first time they separated and got back together.
I gave up on love after Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman called it quits.

I’m glad this guy was dealt with but it really slams home the inequalities of the justice system. So many women are terrorised by their stalkers for years or suffer actual threats and violence for years without police action. A wealthy celebrity gets a few emails and is followed one single time and BAM ten years. One…
Taylor Swift sucks in so many other ways, but I’m really glad she is safe and was able to deal with her stalker and the guy got the punishment/treatment he deserved. We really have come a long way since the days of Rebecca Schaeffer.
I don’t recall anyone telling those other candidates to go away
Fox News had some nasty Trump propagandist Jeanine Pirro stalking the woods where Hillary was seen hiking after the election trying to ambush her. Jesse Waters of Fox did the same thing hunting around Chappaqua looking for Hillary so he could jump out and question her.
You and me and these ladies agree on that point (a thread with receipts):
I grew up in the rust belt and I know people of Roseanne’s generation who campaigned for Obama, Bill Clinton, Kerry, Gore, Dukakis (and further back!) and they freakin’ voted for Trump. It seems nuts to me but many past core Dems feel really betrayed by the Democrats in general. Many voted for Trump out of spite.…
The only way it makes sense to me is if Roseanne (the real one) had this idea that someone from “outside” Washington would somehow be accomplish things that a regular politician would not.
I think Roseanne Connor as a trump supporter shows how people can change and evolve in sometimes the worst ways as they get older. Everyone assumes with age comes wisdom, but that’s not always the case. Sometimes people get tired and lose some their empathy. Roseanne Connor was progressive at one point in time, but at…
She wouldn’t be. Roseanne Connor is only a Trumper because of Roseanne Barr. I’ve seen pretty much every episode of the original Roseanne. She and Dan represented the middle American blue collar working class, BUT eschewed the closed mindedness, bitterness and bigotry that motivates Trumps popularity. Overall, they…
It misses for me because so much of the humor in the original series focused on calling out bullshit. The series punched a lot at upper class windbags who were both affluent and exploiting of the blue collar classes. There’s a whole plotline about a shady charming Tim Curry talking Dan into investing in property and…
I know plenty of Republicans who have LGBTQ friends/family and see no conflict between that and their voting habits.
It’s not that hard to accept. In a lot of ways, the character was an iconoclast, which doesn’t really require you to have any political affiliation. That the character would also be a Trump supporter is no more surprising than that the actor is a Trump supporter. People mistook her for an ally when she was just a…
I just don’t see it either. If anyone might have voted for Trump in that family it was Dan and even that would be a huge stretch since he wasn’t an asshole.
