I’ll go ahead and be That Nerdy Person and point out that Liv Tyler played Arwen the Elven princess (or I guess 3/4 elven, or like “mostly elven but also a teeny bit human plus a dash of Maiar”), and I thought she was good? However, I HATED Miranda Otto as Eowyn the shieldmaiden of Rohan / Karl Urban’s sister, and

It takes a certain kind of courage to play a character you know others will hate, I think. I had to MAKE myself watch Aaron Eckhart’s other movies after In the Company Of Men.

Actually no, you pretty much never have the right to generalize an entire group. I’m sympathetic to what you’re saying but if you don’t see the hypocrisy in your statement about the social consciousness of Asian American women then you have bigger problems.

I was not part of that conversation but I do know there are online therapy options. Especially good for major introverts who have a hard time leaving the house and seeing someone and getting vulnerable fast.

Why is this?

The number of times that I have been told or have witnessed another female dancer be told, “There are a 100 other women waiting to do your job for free,” are countless because I have never bothered to count them. It’s ubiquitous. If you are a dancer (especially a ballet dancer), you spend your entire life being

In Nicki’s defense, she’s been bothered by the Breakfast Club for a long time because they’re not good journalists or hosts. They’re often deliberately hostile to guests, deliberately provocative towards them, and they don’t “do their fucking research!” She’s expressed this to them before, and yet when she comes they

Honestly, I got so tired of not being able to find a suit that supports my boobs I just buy a suit that I like and then sew a cheap bra into it (just stitch the cups in along the neck and at the sides, leave the back loose so you can clasp it easier) and cut off the bra straps if they don’t match the suit straps. This.

And not only that- but the creator gets to include the logo in their portfolio and tell other people “I made that logo.” It’s extremely rare that a brand would ask a designer to sign an NDA and never take credit for the work beyond payment. It’s right for Stark to want to be able to include this in her resume- that’s

I mentioned this in another thread but I’ve got an old bra I wear under my swimsuits because I have a 36H bust and it’s always a nightmare trying to find anything that fits. I’ve heard tell that there are actual “swim bras” designed for the purpose but I’ve yet to look into it.

I’m anywhere between a size 18-22 and 40 g/h depending on brand. I wear a a supportive two piece, but high waisted bottoms with a cropped rashguard to avoid it rolling up.

I also have the ModCloth swimsuit linked before. I wear a 38H. I feel like it could have more support, but it looks good. The bottom also provides a lot of coverage.

I’m 40J and the only swimsuits I will wear are by Curvy Kate and Elomi. This season there aren’t many good options at either company but older styles are all over ebay.

I have a large chest- though not as large as yours - and I almost always buy cup-size bikini tops. I actually have found that one pieces are even worse that bikinis because there is so little coverage and support. It’s not a good look for me. Agree with the poster above about Freya and Fantasie. Check out asos where

The suits at Addition Elle (Canadian brand, will ship to US) mostly have great support. Many styles have a tight underbust band and wide, built-in mesh softcup bra and wide, adjustable straps. Infuriatingly, despite being a plus-size brand, they only go up to g/h cup and, although they have a few underwire offerings,

Breasts that require rigging.

I lost it at rigging.
