Cannabis isn’t medically addictive the way opiates or nicotine are, but like almost anything it can be psychologically addictive. In the same way people can genuinely be addicted to shopping or sex, they can be totally addicted to cannabis.

Like I said, ‘probably’ is right there in your quote. I do have an idea of how I think people would act based on their past actions. It’s just a guess, again like I just said, but I think it’s a reasonable guess.

I said ‘considering their actions’ — it’s a best guess that anyone who would sacrifice their life for someone’s well-being would be willing to stick up for their care as well. I don’t think it’s too far-fetched.

Alternatively, accusing people of having a white savior complex isn’t so bad, especially when the money raised here and historically in lots of other cases has disproportionately gone to white victims.

Did you consider it would be unpopular for a good reason? This man has a much better sense of the context of his actions than you do, I’m sure. You realize you’re literally accusing one of the men who intervened—who, as this article states, was millimeters away from a violent death himself—of liberal naval gazing... while he’s still recovering?

In fact, most people would say trying to take action to solve all of your partner’s desires is probably unhealthy. What if she wanted to go to Paris weekly? Should he kill himself for that.

That’s fascinating about the church tie to politics. When I have a moment, I am definitely going to look that up.
