I know he’s a dick, but little things like this remind me that he’s SUCH A DICK.

If nothing else, they are inherently intellectually dishonest. And there’s little to no intellect. It’s always just a disgusting mud pit fight with an inveterate liar. the ultimate waste of time.

More people need to be aware of what Sartre said about arguing with anti-Semites:

Jurors in Maricopa County, AZ

More big government overreach trying to get in the way of honest business just trying to get the most out of cheating customers. I miss the good old days when lying, cheating, and stealing we’re “just business”.

Just wait till you get the part where he thanks God for his babies instead of the science and education and technology that made it possible.

It’s not so much what happened afterward as that there was a chance for something to happen afterward:

Fake noose!

So, his own children resulted from in vitro fertilization, but he believes that life begins at conception. There’s a lot of room for inconsistency between fertilization and successful implantation. But I guess IOIYAR.

No, that was a signal to his guys that they hadn’t made good on the bounty on Freeman yet.

Nah, you know he was super casual about this.

“Please get pregnant by me, but after I inject my seed in you you can’t have an abortion nor will I allow you to get good maternal health care.”

I just thought Payton had swallowed too many Vicodins and needed the Heimlich.

You all have it backwards. Payton wasn’t saying that Freeman and the Falcons were choking, he was helpfully letting them know that the Saints were about to shit the bed.

For real. Folks where he comes from really know about choking. Wait.

LA Weekly out of print next month.

You and I must be reading some different regional weeklies; the ones I know had it the other way round - they were beloved when they did good journalism but floundered when they became strictly arts & entertainment magazines.

How are they planning to retain advertisers? As one of them, I don’t see a path to ROI after so profoundly and publicly destroying the LA Weekly brand.
