In the last week Kennedy has gone out of his way to screw over: LGBTQ, women, muslims, minorities, and workers. Did I miss anything? Tell me how having a zealot on the bench would have changed any of those 5-4 votes.

Kennedy has already gone full MAGA. Its not like this will make it any worse. Its only effect will be to make it worse for longer. However, if/when Trump picks someone truly terrible, it might make it easier to impeach them off the bench in the future.
