I don't want to sound like that guy, but I don't feel like this would be very difficult to build yourself...and save thousands of dollars

Those LED Panels are awesome. I actually have a similar product that I am using in my machines. It is a VERY low profile LED Panel that puts out a completely even light. I had considered making the entire ceiling of my machine a continuous light.

This looks like a really cool idea to me. I can picture a ceiling that gives off a warm, sunny glow or a kitchen backsplash that doubles as undercabinet lighting.

I still have complete faith I will get my spoonful.

Living in a high-rise I find myself very interested but the price is a bit much when I know that even in the worst situation the two stair wells will most likely get me to safety. I might consider it closer to $250-300 though, surely if they lowered the weight limit they could get the cost down somewhat.
