I was thinking this myself. Many times I've had to refresh serveral times before I could even read it. Also I've noticed it seems you don't have to be 100% correct when entering them as some I just guessed at and knew it was probably wrong but it let me through anyways.

To add on to this there are multiple databases so one phone company may have the name and another may not or have the name wrong. Those databases are not updated on a regular basis.

5MP camera seems like a step backwards to me but I guess it will really depend on the picture quality.

That I find funny is first cells phones were voice only no text messages. Then text messages and no people text more then they actually call people. Now they have Siri so they use their voice to send a text message.
