@Poxuz: Agreed. Also - although it didn't stay in my Wii for very long - I thought Wii Sports Resort was more than decent. Shitty thing is, I moved away from the friends I would get together with to play Wii Sports by the time I bought it. Good news: I didn't throw down on 4 Pluses. Bad news: the novelty wore off

Easiest day one purchase I'll ever make.

@Qball: You just brought me back, and it's exactly what i was thinking when I took a look at this: Do they mean "Rifts"? I.E. the superweird and complicated RPG that I used to flip through as I waited for my hobby store guy to grab my new ordered Palladium Macross book?

The destroyer part was broken, the jumping was wonky, the animations sometimes glitched out, the QTE battles were annoying...

This is one of the games that turned my girlfriend on to gaming so this is utterly unexpected and awesome news.

@Hueynewton: hey cool, sound's like you're just dissing people. so that's awesome.

@choblerone: I disagree with you but I loved your simile.

I don't agree with a lot of this, and I would've told you that adding dozens of minigames and random encounter distractions to game should've been a bad idea but I found that I loved Red Dead's world for it. This has been my favorite Rockstar game and its assortment of shit to do is key to the experience, even when

@TheVegetarianBurgerKing: I thought it was spotty and yes, a big part of the problem was how good MGS3 was. 4 definitely had its moments but they were too fleeting. And it's weird, I used the words "verbose and irrational" to describe an MGS game as a bad one, but I don't know if I've moved on in my narrative tastes

@Hueynewton: That's possibly the dumbest comment I've read today, but give me a minute, it's early.

@whatisyugioh: I have to agree with you, whatsup with that? Guy's probably a Path train commuter who tells people he's "from the city." Never understood why Alderney was so massive in GTA 4 and Bohan gets a tiny little island.

Em. Gee. Ess. Four.

This is the new RCR, or Kunio-kun for those pushing their nerdy glasses up higher on their nose. It's lovely and perfectly executed and impressive. Go DL it already goddamit!

@MSUHitman: It's noted, I'm not saying it doesn't suck, but get some buddies over my friend.

@fletchersamp: Thanks for the music note I actually WAS very interested in what track was playing. There's no actual evidence of the band performing the entire soundtrack is there? That sounds almost like awesomeness overkill.

has anyone else not heard of this?

@Slanzinger: I never get too high up on the boards but my Castlevania gamertag is in the top 5000-1000 on pretty much every level. I consider that the best I can do.

@Iz1ck: What confuses me about Double Fine is their persistent status. Who's bankrolling these guys? Are they steadily turning a profit? Sometimes I hear that Double Fine is at one gaming convention or another and I think to myself: how could they afford to go when they've been living on ramen noodles since they
