The world was in agreement: Iraq had WMDs and had to demonstrate compliance. Guilty until proven innocent. That was the UN resolution. Iraq never did comply in any substantive way.

hopefully now we can get some clarity.

I said nothing about escort quests, or not having combat or anything of that sort. Thats all on you and your very limited imagination.

Gotta grind your gear to fight Jimmy Olsen.

But that’s what audience’s really want out of superhero games right? Counter-insurgency stealth combat, and tank fights. Even better when you get an iconic villain with a score to settle to be the one piloting the tank, because who would ever want to see an actual rematch between him and the hero.

Wow my interest in this game just went to zero. I’m all for open world games when they work and make sense. But why does this game need to be a live service title? Ugh. Whenever something is ‘live service’ I know it’s not for me. I get into a game for a bit, put in a dozen hours or so and move on. Live service games

well we know from leaks it’s a live service game so

Pretty fucked up and disrespectful that his final performance is as a boss someone is going to grind for gear but they need to raise their armor score so they can raid the Daily Planet dungeon.

Based on that Tweet, and that Tweet only, I feel this Poliwar fella is clearly afraid of attractive women.

Faceless robots are more his style, I guess.

Nope. Fucking pass.

Yeah, out of morbid curiosity, I’ve been looking at the Steam forums for several new/upcoming ‘big’ games, and among all the “woke is killing games!” idiocy, there’s a recurring thread of “the evil feminist/leftist/woke/etc movement is making all the videogame women ugly!” One dude going on about how he refuses to buy

This isn’t related to the main troubling point of the article and I know that the internet is filled with dumb things, but that feminity praise tweet from Poliwar is so stupid that I can’t stop lauhing about it. Like if I read a parody account stating something like, I would shrug it off trying too hard. That is art.

I’m glad you don't write games.

Gamers hated Part2 because they were put into a sphere that they normally don’t operate in while playing games: self-reflection.

That was the entire point though. She’s the bad guy when you’re playing one side of it, and then you see her perspective, and it’s supposed to (and does very successfully in my opinion) complicate that viewpoint, and make you see that the protagonist isn’t necessarily always the “good guy”. And I think that’s

that’s the whole point of the game tho. Who’s the real villain? how far do we need to go for the ones we love? we follow (spoilers.....)

Joel and he’s the “hero” but he essentially murders an innocent doctor and the dad of Abby and also kills MAD people just to save Ellie who’s supposedly could save the world. Dont

Not what I said. Stop looking for reasons to be a victim.

Self-reflection will make a lot of people uneasy, but especially capital ‘G’ Gamers.

That’s kind of the brilliance of it though, you playing as the "villain" in part 2 asks the question, "Isn't the villain based on perspective?"

10000% this. HBO viewers are VERY comfortable with shocking twists, unique structures and character changes. I bet they really dig season 2, if it stays close to that game.
