Better suggestion: go to the profile settings and tap “delete”. Then long-press the app icon icon on your phone and select "delete" there as well.

105 miles of beautiful frosted glass

I think they just stopped allowing it to be resold on their marketplace (which gives gamestop a cut of the transaction). Somebody still “owns” it, but if they want to sell it, they have to do it offsite. Not saying this to defend NFTs, they’re still dumb.

Ah, yes, the GOP.  The party that doesn’t actually do fuck-all for anyone unless you’re a mega-corporation, church, or straight white Christian male.

I was struck by the same thought when I read this article. The cynical part of me thinks that Disney is wary of leaning too hard into the day-to-day victimization of mutants as parallels to real world prejudice. They’d much rather keep them in a more high-minded debate that doesn’t require people to ask themselves

If Marvel is smart they do all-new arcs and origin stories with maybe some homages to the famous X stories but that’s it. The X-men history is so convoluted and then Fox mangled it so badly you’re playing with massive fire trying to do any “legacy” justice.

I don’t think Krakoa will ever fit in. Hickman’s wild ideas have kind of broken the X-Men for now. He pushed his wild, world-changing ideas so far that if they are kept in continuity, they can’t help but completely change the entire planet so that it is no longer “the world outside your window” and can never be so

Most likely what’ll happen is that mutants will just exist, with Xavier running his school for Gifted Children unnoticed for years. There might be some residents of Westchester talking about the guy with red sunglasses or the kid who’s cold all the time, but no real ties to the larger MCU.

Amazing and standing in solidarity! Also, more Katie Porter in anything and hot dayum she knows about the merger and holding them to account. Do that!

I can’t stand what they’ve done with the X-men in the past decade or so. First they tried to replace them with the Inhumans, and after that failed because the Inhumans are fundamentally hard to relate to, they started writing the X-men as if they’re the Inhumans for some reason.

In the current economic context, carefully and strategically managing our investments is critical now more than ever. We must therefore succeed in strongly limiting our spending to what is essential by questioning some of our habits and reflexes, and by reinventing ourselves together to make gains in terms of cost,

I’m curious, what exactly do you think is a Ponzi here?

The big reason not to do that is telco links are more unreliable and far more expensive in areas with extreme weather shifts and icy winters, you have to dig deeper to avoid frost heave disrupting the lines, potentially dealing with permafrost if you’re north enough, as well as the difficulties of employee access

London is further north than the major cities in Quebec

Fucking low bar

Much better, yes. Still terrible, also yes.

The movie “Solo,” from the point of view of literally any other character in the movie “Solo,” would’ve been a better movie than “Solo.” Because you’re right, foregone conclusions are boring, and new things are interesting.

In reality they would probably just grab the (freely available) Unreal Engine 4 source code and ignore the licensing requirements for its use.

That... was weird. About half of the trailer felt like it was emulating the 60's Munsters TV show, down to the writing, acting, production design and cinematography. And then the other half of the trailer felt like it was shot like an early 2000's reality TV show with flat lighting, dutch angles, and punch zooms. Also

The designs themselves are terrible, but the actual key animation is legitimately great.
