One thing I like that I haven’t felt for a while in open world games is that playing for even an hour will feel like I accomplished something. The world is enjoyable to explore so I’ll find myself at work planning areas to complete or an item I want to get and just that will be like little daily adventures.

Correction: The boss you probably meant to name was *Godrick* the Grafted. There is no Godfrey the Grafted, though there is a Godefroy the Grafted, a miniboss.

Holy shit is Elden Ring out? Since when? Why haven’t there been articles about it?

Man, as much as I would love to play Azad, I feel like we’re all in a game of Damage now.

The biotic pieces are apparently the hardest to master.

Guys I found Gray Area's other account!

Came 200,000 light years for this comment.  Leaving satisfied.

Fuck off with this horseshit.

The real game is Azad and it’s played on a Board of Origin, the Board of Form, and a Board of Becoming and actually is much more complex than chess.

As someone who just finished HZD and is now starting the sequel, damn but this is a good analogy. Here’s hoping Musk doesn’t accidentally cause Armageddon. I don’t think we have many Dr. Sobecks around to counteract him.

He’s not an engineer, he’s not a scientist, he’s just a techbro who dropped out of grad school after three days to found a startup where he takes other people’s money and uses it to pay real engineers and real scientists to re-invent tunnels.

I’m fairly proud that I didn’t use a cheese strategy against him. I just got right up in his backside, launched a few icicles, then retreated when he so much as looked my way, darting back in between combos for one or two more shots until his second phase. When he reached a certain threshold of health, I activated my

Yeah, I feel bad for anyone new to Soulsborne type games who doesn’t know about iframes from rolling or quickstepping. Rolling towards attacks, while counterintuitive, is often the best way to avoid damage.

Not technically a required boss fight, the entirety of caelid is actually optional. If you beat goddrick and rennala you can move on without touching the area. It is required for a certain ending and quest line though.

I’m of the mind that there’s no such thing as a cheap way to kill a Souls boss. And using the rot breath certainly made it easier but he could still wreck you in one hit if you mess up.

tbf the Russian propaganda machine is pushing the talking point hard via astroturf campaigns. They literally are “using said racism as a shield against criticism”.

Holy crap, can you please not feed into the whataboutism? At least not yet?

You don’t even know who Fia is until you talk to her.

I know I have at least one Russian friend who is extremely pro-Ukraine and anti-war, and is expressing her disdain for the attacks all over Twitter. She’s not the only one, I hope.

You cite the ‘61 Cuban Missile crisis while not mentioning that the US removing Missiles from Turkey (a NATO member since ‘52) was the key part of the compromise that ended it without major violenceLatvia, a member since 2004 (4 years after Putin came to power) is also on the Russian border.  All those former
