That the makers of DOS2 were entrusted with this IP, and that it is progressing despite the pandemic?

It would have to be a steaming pile of crap, both on a technical level and a design level, for it to be messy as far as Early Access games go.

Not only is Athena my waifu, she’s STUPIDLY OP for runs you want to survive in. That dash-deflect is top tier boon.

Hades gets its gods right by being incredibly hot

SuperGiant has such fucking amazing artists on their team, like those designs are wild and unique but not like supremely overworked if that makes sense? Like Athena isn’t extremely crazy in her design, you can feel her wisdom and the cute Boobo owl.

My love of Supergiant Games’ games has only grown! So much so that I’ve handpainted and themed a part of my house after Transistor. Hades is no exception!

Boons definitely impact your runs, heavily, I have discovered. A series of synergistic boons will take you far. A few bad boons at the start, and you pretty much know you’re not going far that run. (At least if you’re me, with my level of skill)

Far and away my biggest tip is a direct contradiction to this: Stubborn Defiance is great for mid-game, terrible for end game. As soon as you can afford 3 stacks of Death Defiance, use that. Once you’re comfortable with the game it’s really only Hades and maybe Theseus getting in a cheap shot that you’ve really gotta

Knowing that Hades has two stages is a great heads up.

Almost looks like the 1000 chimps banging away at typewriters, writing Shakespeare, took a break to do some Kinja.

This is an impressive word salad you’ve got going on here.

Man, Microsoft’s really going all in on the Western RPGs. First they acquired Obsidian, and now Bethesda....

Yes. But if you look at NewEgg’s business channel they sell like 1/10th of their product line. And if you are less than 1,000 people you won’t be able to get a direct sales line to a company like Nvidia or AMD.

Lol, I mean yes, they have thought about these things a lot, but the thing everyone building ecommerce platforms is thinking about is minimizing friction to make sure once you’ve hit the product page, they’re getting your money. They can pay lip service to how much they hate bots (which is partly genuine, insomuch as

It’s more because they can probably make up a lot of that 100$ off purchases made through the PlayStation store.

I mean I’m interested for the whimsical almost Fable-esque “British fantasy” vibes it gave but the placement of Rowling getting more money and the lack of real details about the contents of the game is a hard pass.

There has been no time to release the game then because she’s settled on being that forever.

Beginning as a King and then finding yourself as a Duke isn’t failure, it’s adversity. It’s part of the story that you’re creating through your actions, and while in some ways it sucks, in others it’s simply a result of things that may be well out of your control. Don’t get upset at a demotion, just roll with it!

- For a generic average ruler starting young, I shoot for three stewardship skills for money/building; +25% tax collection eff., -5% bulding costs and - 30% construction time off the bat; then the celibacy option in Learning.

Saw an interview with the Hawk himself saying Downhill Jam is his favorite level in the first game. Though he realizes that’s not a popular opinion.
