I’m surprised how many people haven’t learned the usefulness of this. In the demo I learned it was far and away the best method to deal with the Shock Troopers. 

Personally, I’d like to see the texture loading issue in the Sector 7 slums fixed first. The game looks amazing during the initial Mako Reactor run, and then when you get to the slums, almost everything is low res PS2 quality. There are many textures in the FF XII remaster that look cleaner and sharper.

Maybe wait to add the photo mode until they get the textures to reliably load into their full resolution.

I usually agree, but none of the puzzles that result from them feel too tedious. They really just help liven things up and compliment your existing powers.
