I wish the players would strike and actually sit out until they got guaranteed deals. It’s ridiculous that they are the only major sport that doesn’t get them

If Jerruh, et al. (and really, the League) want to ride atop this high horse of “BUT GOOD SIR YOU HAVE SIGNED A CONTRACT!”—and they seem hell bent on trotting this out every time this happens—then they need to go ahead and guarantee contracts.

why did you repost my pic?

We all know that agents, attorneys, all have their agenda—by the way, they’re all taking money out of the pie, too, when they’re there. And so the straighter it goes from the source to the one receiving it, nine times out of ten, that’s more efficient.

“I’m just saying, if you have no basis to have a piece of paper—there’s nothing that says a contract executed within the past few weeks or months can’t be looked at and say ‘you know, I think I want a different part of it done this way’ and not play. You get into a different world when you don’t honor agreements.”

You obviously aren’t an English teacher.

Well, if this dumbass meant that the study and celebration of the human condition has nothing to do with the 21st Century, as things stand, dumbass is at least partially right.

No you’re not, you boring liar.

The teacher’s union

1. Strikes are illegal in Nevada- that’s some BS right there.

Shut up, tomato.

Shut up, tomato.

And a hearty fuck you to you, sir!

A disproportionate number of people I grew up with became educators. Some of them are good teachers and some are bad. The only ones who became administrators were the bad teachers. They are now bad administrators.

No hint of a motive. Imma go out on a limb with “muthafucka be crazy,” though.

Jesus, I've never needed a whiskey at 6:30 am until now.

I honestly don’t know if I would be able to continue on if I lost my wife and little girl and the thought of ever experiencing an ounce of what he’s going through is turning my stomach.  Just an absolute tragedy

I’m so jealous of the kids today who get the chance of getting measles and polio!

Why is it a bummer? Deadspin's coverage of Lin has been odd.
