I doubt either side really has much to be said about the other, and certainly i’ve seen some wonderful results when PolScis and historians decide to cooperate on a paper.

Can’t say i know for certain what the life of a historian is like. I certainly get raked over the coals if i don’t have my data in order as a PolSci bachelor.

The usual joke goes that historians are political scientists who don’t bother with citations.

Turkey, both to take the piss out of his face, and to annoy him generally.

Was that a spreadsheet joke? :D

I second this. I did something like 60% damage to an AT-AT, and made over a thousand points with one orbital strike. Hold onto them, and blwo those big tin cans to scrap.

“No” on all accounts. Most are story based semi-linear games with literally finite outcomes, and LoL and Burnout are repetitive and context-less enough to make your argument a joke.

Was there ever a game that was infinitely interesting?

I suspect people’s kneejerk love for Steam has less to do with the service itself, and more to do with the company. Valve is perhaps the one and only major company in the games industry which is not headed up by a bag of dicks disguised as a board of directors. Valve are supposed to be the good guys, the ones we root

And even now, they try to spin it as them “listening to the feedback” when in fact they were covered in vitriol so acidic it would make Adam Jensen take a shower. And they try to spin it as “We wanted to give you more choice!” when in fact they wanted to carve shit up and try and bastardise crowdfunding into fuelling

Well, screw football, with all its bullshit licensing antics. But more importantly, #FucKonami.

I think they’ve given that one the Photoshop treatment with the DoF, but it’s definitely not far off.

Hardly. The player characters pull from US, UK, German, French and Russian special forces, possibly with more to come. Meanwhile, the enemies in co-op, “The White Masks” are described as being borderless and without care for nationality or anything else. I guess the full game will reveal more, but so far, the game

Wallgina?

Your obvious facetiousness aside, you’re implying that not locking a game’s FPS below 60 in any would impact performance. It won’t.

Sand to Bedouins? Let’s try.

Sorry to be captain Obvious here, but he seems to be sorely needed: The Surface 3 is not objectively anything but a tablet with so-and-so tech specs.

If there was ever a game crying out for not just a remake, but a retooling of the core gameplay, it’s Alpha Protocol. It’s tough to love, but i’ll be damne dif it isn’t worth sticking with.

Actually just superstition.

Chaos theory in action here. Who says physics can’t be fun?
