So, another Ultium vehicle that is priced so the upper middle class can afford it? Hope it beats Ford at something.

it’s the fact that unemployment is up and salaries/pay are down compared with pre-COVID, yet prices keep rising.
Ding Ding. We have a winner. You just have to procure the buyout in a different way. It’s none of their business where your buyout money came from. They want you to finance the buyout. They are financing arms first that happen to sell cars.
I sold a leased car private party. It was well under mileage, like new condition, and fairly rare/desirable in my neck of the woods (wagon with a stick). Dealer wouldn’t deal so I found a buyer, we agreed on a fair market value price, and the buyer gave me two checks, one for the buyout amount which I mailed to the…
Have you ever been driving down the road and you see a particular car off to the side and suddenly you think, for no obvious reason, “Betcha that fucker’s gonna pull right out in front of me,” and then he does it? Happens to me all the time, but I don’t know what the subliminal clues are that lead to this very useful…
So basically it’s a prequel to Pixar’s “Cars” series?
and taking out a loan on a depreciating asset will never feel like a great choice.
Hmm, I wonder how much the outdoor recreation boom is playing a part. There are a lot of posts in a camper forum I’m occasionally active on where people are asking if whatever small CUV they have is able to tow the camper they put a deposit down on. By silenced they were really hard to hear from a mile away instead of 5 miles away.
Let’s be real - this is a car, it would be a $10 part.
The point is you shouldn’t have to replace an entire $16k battery because a plastic nipple for a low pressure cooling system was cracked. This should be a $1 part that can easily be replaced on said battery pack.
I’m sorry, the brass will what now?
Brittle plastic parts that snap, crack, or corrode after a few years?
Not sure how a brass piece is going to warp. This is likely stronger than the plastic piece ever was. The only downside I can see is that the plastic housing it went into will likely break before it does, so the potential for the next repair to be much more difficult is higher.
I’m not a youth anymore, but when I was one, if one was cheaper and got nearly twice the gas mileage, that would trump the styling difference. But I was a broke kid too.
