I will say this about Top Gear: It's a program that's about something I like that my wife will not only agree to watch, she'll actually suggest we watch it.

I agree, Top Gear has probably done more to keep people (especially younger people) interested in cars than any other thing. Sadly I don't see anything else that's going to substantially fill that void.
