Seriously. Potentially ruined the year of the best racing I've ever watched from coming down to an incredible showdown. Was real bummed out yesterday.

Not that I’m defending it, but what is so bad about Amherst?

This is weird. Seeing an article on Jalopnik with a picture that is literally half a mile from where I am right now is odd. Also went to college there.

I wouldn't waste your time on this post.

Grew up a car guy (who actually hated motorcycles) as well. Friend got one and exposed me to them. Still love cars, but dang, the bike bug hit me hard!

Exactly. I was laying on the couch watching the first fifteen laps or so, after that I was mostly on my feet in front of the TV. Incredible stuff.

Preach it brother. I’m pretty young, but until this year I had pretty much follow F1 exclusively for a few years. Went to Montreal to watch the race, etc. Slowed down watching it last year, and didn’t even bother this year. MotoGP is blowing my mind this year. I was totally hooked after watching the first race in

“To her,” he said, referring to Sanders’ girlfriend. “But to him, no. Because he was doing something illegal.”

Pretty much what I said to the word. Absolutely amazing.

I’ll go out on a limb here and say that was the best motorsports race I’ve ever watched in my life. If you’re not watching the motogp series this year you are missing out on something special.

Could be wrong, but I don’t think he’s talking about you specifically.

Unfortunately for me it ended up pretty quickly resulting in getting addicted to track days.

Drag strip is good in the dollars to smiles ratio.

I know this all looks innocent enough, but watch his right foot! He clamps down on the rear brake. It's not difficult to lock up the rear, especially with a bit of lean there.

Look at his right foot. He stomps on the rear brake. This was definitely rider error.

Pretty much, though this was a Porsche Club of America track day, so it was much more biased than usual.

Haha, that’s so true. Great comparison.

For clarity sake (looking back, my post was vague), I was there at Watkin's Glen. A WRX in a sea of Porsches stands out pretty well :D

Get comfortable with it and then definitely get the bike out there! There are typically rules for where you can pass depending on your class, but there’s no “pointing only” kind of thing. If you're fasting than the guy in front of you and you can do so safely and within the rules, you just pass him.
