Haha, that’s so true. Great comparison.

For clarity sake (looking back, my post was vague), I was there at Watkin's Glen. A WRX in a sea of Porsches stands out pretty well :D
Get comfortable with it and then definitely get the bike out there! There are typically rules for where you can pass depending on your class, but there’s no “pointing only” kind of thing. If you're fasting than the guy in front of you and you can do so safely and within the rules, you just pass him.
This is pretty crazy, but I actually saw your car. I was there with my wife spectating on that Saturday and specifically remember seeing your WRX. Small world!
Zonda is definitely a glaring omission.
I got this joke. *high-five*
Come on, everyone knows to buy used Maseratis when you’re on a budget because depreciation.
Absolutely. No argument there. Bad idea to get off the bike.
Financial guy as well here. Agree in principle with a good portion of what Ramsey says, but definitely not all of it (I don’t think all debt is bad). Like you said, blanket statements aren’t great.
I’d love to see that phone call to the cops.
Who the heck knows then!
Genuine thanks for being the people that are usually on the look out for two wheels!
Wow.
*shrug* ok.
It’s deliberately not supposed to be. Your statement before was that income doesn’t keep up with inflation. I showed that inflation over that time period was 65%. Income increased more than that (82%) over the same time period. If I used inflation rates on the income I would just be proving that inflation = inflation.
I’m still lost. And I guess we’re both talking about different cars. I’m talking about the 1SS (as stated in my original comment with pricing), since I agree with NightDriver that it is a better comparison. Apparently you’re talking about the Z/28.
Quadrupled...Huh? How about less than double? Which btw, from looking at US census data, is almost the exact rate at which average income per person has increased over that same time period.
Inflation my friend...$18k in 1992 is about $30.6k today. Compared to the current SS which is $33k and an extra 150 hp (admittedly, with corresponding weight :D). Still not a bad time to be alive!
Could very well be the case, though it doesn't match the police's account. Don't see any stop signs, and it would be easy for the other car to think it's a 4-way when it's really not and just creep into the intersection thinking the "speeding" SUV is going to stop.
Wait, are you kidding me? North Tonawanda? 0.o
