I was hoping that this would be a mistake they made so I could laugh at them, but was disappointed when he only reached the cord out a couple inches. Good thing I got laughs at the rest of the clip.

Fantastic reference.
That would make my week! Awesome.
Wave of the hand. Thought that was pretty universal.
Not bad though, out of the 51 cars you have, 17 are still rotary.
Slamming on both brakes is a great way to lose control. Agree with everything else.
Fantastic.
Agreed. It's easy to say the P1 driver was terrible, but that's way too harsh imo. He obviously isn't near as talented as Webb, but not many of us are. I'd say pretty good effort from him.
This is Genesis. Behold.

Yup I absolutely agree. I remember my first run on my Daytona. I had already made plenty of runs on my 500 so it's not like I was new to racing. Ran a 12.3 the first time. I now run 11.2s. Haha. Someone with real skill and didn't care about the clutch could prolly be mid high 10s.
It's getting the power down that's the issue. I said in another response that low 9s are possible too, but as always, depends on the skill of the rider. Putting down a great time on a bike that's not a drag-focused (no idea how much this bike is) regardless of power is a tricky thing. With that much power he could be…
I don't know about "plenty". A few do, yes. I've raced with race-only Busa's spraying, with an experienced rider and they're in the 8s. But that's just been my experience from what I've seen. Still think without modding it to make it drag-focused you're looking in the 9s (low 9s perhaps) for the most part, unless you…
Assuming good rider, prolly mid 9s would be my guess.
I've loved cars passionately for years. That said, every time I attend an air show I note that jets are the only thing that make cars look positively boring.
I lol'd hard.
Should have put this in with the "widest arches" thread.
*After he kept breaking it. As I recall, most of the problems were from him installing aftermarket equipment.
Perfect summary. Though video can be deceiving, I think he definitely could have made that turn.
Yup, I remember the first time I watched the video. Saw the decreasing radius of the turn and was like "uh-oh". That's why you always leave a buffer zone in your riding, so you can adjust to the things you weren't expecting. I still think he could have made that turn, but he target fixated.
