I vote it's the complete lack of sympathetic characters that's killing the show. None of them are likable.

Is it just me or does it seem that Hutcherson's acting repertoire consists mainly of mouth breathing in a dorky way and mouth breathing in an intimidating way in this scene?

Meredith, This is great! It'd be really neat if io9 would post images like this more often that could be used as desktop wallpaper. (Especially in the 1280x800 size.) Maybe you guys could solicit some of the artists in the Sci Fi community. What do you think?

@akacrash: Just to be nitpicky: I thought the jeans looked like dark wash denim not black.

I really like it. She looks pretty kick ass in that outfit and, let's face it, sister needed some pants.

@farcedude: The books have had years to shine on their own. I don't think it would be a slap in the face to ignore them. It's not as it they're exemplary works of fiction. They're pretty pulpy and this is coming from a girl who just finished reading Fate of the Jedi: Backlash. (read: I like the Star Wars pulp.)

@Evdor: OK, I'm willing to go with a SW:TNG that doesn't focus on the kids. (Though it saddens me to think of a Star Wars without Han Solo.)

I don't care that this isn't look like the graphic novel, it does look like it's going to be so much frakking fun.
