I may not have hit the nail on the head with my word choice here, I’ll admit, but I don’t think the article is balanced, it’s a puff job of Serena.  She lost 6-2, 6-4, and this controversy happened in the second set.  Wouldn’t it be more fair to say that Serena wasn’t feeling it today, wasn’t having her best match,

Can we please stop with the Serena worship? She’s a titan of tennis, a superb athlete, but she’s not without flaws, without her faults. She’s petulant, and this isn’t the first or worst instance of abusing an official in her career.

This was so hard to watch. I hope Naomi Osaka knows she would have won this match on her own if all of this shit hadn’t happened.

It is called the Champions League. Liverpool are champions of nothing. Unless you count the spot of winning losers.

Tough draw for Arsenal.

In a later statement DeSantis said that he was simply calling a spade a spade and he doesn’t appreciate the way he’s being colored.

Yes, exactly. Because LITERALLY NOTHING ELSE bad involving MSU athletics personnel has happened in the last decade let alone been extensively covered on this very website.

I wouldn’t use such a strong word, but here are some reasons people might not like him:

On the one hand, this punishment seems a bit light. On the other hand, at least he didn’t let a couple of players get free tattoos.

Well when it’s 3rd and long, you’ll be happy you have a defensive end who knows how to pin his ears back.

Hillary Clinton ran on the most progressive agenda in the history of the USA

Your patronizing attitude betrays either your stupidity or dishonesty. The Democratic Party Platform of 2016 was only brought about by the demands, numbers and energy of the progressive, Democratic Wing of the Democratic Party. Clinton’s past actions only show that platform for planks to be horse-traded at the behest

For context: the USA is aright of center EMPIRE. The most progressive agenda in a right of center EMPIRE is equivalent to the least smelly turd or the least deadly cancer.

That’s quite the switch for AP.

No, you lost Franken to being an abusive creep who couldn’t keep his hands to himself.

Truly a glitch. Seattle always passes from the one-yard line.

Because they are great.

Ugggh why does this surprise you? Why wouldn’t they? I can think of at least three Splinter writers who have been guests on the podcast and another 1-2+ across the Gizmodo platform.

No, not really. Once capitalism became the driving political force in the world and nuclear weapons became largely available, large militaries among developed nations are no longer a relevant priority. Basically, we can make a lot of money selling weapons to 3rd world countries to fight other 3rd world countries. It
