Wow – they’re starting early today with the “only white people are the ones who get to define what constitutes racism” crap.

But strangely enough, Deadspin seems to have a pretty good group of commenters when it comes to being socially aware.

I enjoy comparing coverage across sites, and I gotta agree. The Root might get some of the nastiest trolls (for super obvious reasons) but it’s core commenters are really great and the writers bring a lot more nuance to this stuff.
