Thank you for amplifying this message. I follow Ms. Burke on Twitter but for some reason, this thread didn’t cross my timeline. Her ability to communicate complex and nuanced ideas is exemplary.

Cardi’s fuchsia dress was perfection...This is by far my favourite look of hers. And the jewels! Perfect for her and To. Die. For.

Oh, and I just realized that Camila’s hit song is actually just a slowed-down Santana tune (Which one? All of them.)

Oh my god, I think that link you refer us to is the article I read in the Toronto Star. There’s a paragraph that describes one of the Latinx workers making an attempt to connect with the WW by using every English word she knows:

I think if a reader can get over themselves for a minute while digesting his words, he has the ability to open minds and remove blinders for a lot of people.

I’m not sure why my immediate reaction to the rich being minorly inconvenienced is a silent ahhahahaha motherfuckers

As Ira would say: Keep it.

This gives me goosebumps. God, she’s good.

Oh honey, I’m so glad. And so sorry.

I am in LOVE with Rosie’s sunnies...anyone have a clue as to what completely unaffordable brand they are?

So the Fat Jew is basically riding on the coattails of a more successful woman while deriding her success and worthiness in order to make himself relevant. So business as usual.

Oh man. How bad are you at sex that you have to work so hard to defend the idea that not being interested in the pleasure of your sexual partner is a sexual preference?

Yeah, as a woman and a former slut (I say that PROUDLY), I can attest to that. Selfish guys just don’t get better, they don’t learn because they really don’t care about anything past their d*cks.

Tell you what, the next time you jaywalk, we’ll repossess your house.

The fact that people appear to be agreeing with my claim doesn’t make it any more or less valid. I’m happy to be shown to be wrong, because then I’ll learn something.

I’m not sure where you’re getting in what I wrote that I would think that this family should not have gotten as much because other families killed by police got lesser amounts.

Just a quick point: The correct past tense for “plead” is pleaded. Pled  is used but pleaded is the standard. Or autocorrect may have betrayed you, it does all of us.

And this child, brutalized by police along with her family received the same amount as a rich, white idiot who suffered “mental anguish, pain, and suffering” for being taken in by the Fyre festival.

We watch the U.S. because we don’t want to watch ourselves. It’s easier to point the finger than to look in the mirror.
