I know what it is. I’m saying it’s ridiculous to state that Rowling is a perfect embodiment of the validity of this concept. There are so many more egregious examples.

I would also say, I am somewhat active in the kink community and the idea of what you consider to be the sexual rubicon is... quaint.
I am so impressed that she spoke out (regardless of her privilege, it’s always difficult to do so), and then used her position to amplify the voices of those who are rarely, if ever heard.

To me, that’s what heroes are: They break cycles of abuse and oppression because it’s the right thing to do. And they tend to do it quietly, in whatever small ways that they can. These small improvements in the way we treat each other make a big difference over time and as more people learn to do the same.
