Your logic is faulty. Just because a third of American women are paying for their male partner’s stuff, it isn’t necessarily also true that two thirds of American men are paying for their female partners’ stuff.

I the original article about this, he did speak with Mario about it, but apparently it made things so much worse that the women asked him to stop:

I know what it is. I’m saying it’s ridiculous to state that Rowling is a perfect embodiment of the validity of this concept. There are so many more egregious examples.

These small improvements in the way we treat each other make a big difference over time and as more people learn to do the same.
