You created a burner account just to provide us with this sizzling hot sports take? Strong work.
The worst are the ones that are like "it was loud" or "it was raining so I couldn't sit on the patio".
Technically right now it has 6,478 likes, as of 2014-06-17. It seems reasonable to me that there are that many people on Earth who've seen the first three and thought, "Yes, I think another three hours of this is the absolute best way to spend my time."
Pimpbot 5000 needs to be in this movie. Or any movie
I prefer the famous Transformer 2 FAQ some hack writer made a few years ago when it came out.
This.
They did not write the screenplay. It was written by Josh Applebaum, Andre' Nemec, and Evan Daugherty (plus probably 8 or 9 other uncredited writers). Trust me, if the screenplay had actually been written by Eastman and Laird there wouldn't be nearly this level of skepticism.
Me & most of my geek friends have talked about finally making a stand and not going to see the TMNT film in theatres, damn our nerd love. We should've done this with Green Lantern, but we thought it couldn't be so bad - same with Transformers 2 & 3. We were wrong and we'll stay home.
The new Turtles movie, based on the trailers and cast alone (and partially with the character designs) has me supremely disappointed.
The entire article left a bad taste in my mouth, and that's just putting it nicely.
On Sunday night, the utterly meaningless Miss USA pageant aired, and a soon-to-be-forgotten woman from Nevada won the title.
The point is that the author of the article is equating the average American woman's figure with a "normal" figure; this implies that anything outside of the average is somehow, "abnormal."
Just going to echo a few of the comments here:
Thank you. Well said. The fact that larger numbers of people are growing fatter does not magically make 'fat' into 'normal'.
I am so tired of this. ALL BODIES ARE NORMAL. Yes, the 5-foot-3, 166-pound American woman is your average. Miss Indiana is by no means "average." But she's not an abnormal body with green tentacles and a third eyeball hidden in her hair either. THAT would be abnormal. It seems vaguely insulting to the other…
Mekayla Diehl's body is normal. It isn't the average American woman's body, but it is absolutely normal. Her body is not abnormal or unusual.
O.J. Simpson was, at his best, a great running back. Tywin Lannister is, at his best, a gifted writer of letters that will get people betrayed. Pope John Paul was, at his best, talented at protecting pedophiles in a manner that made him appear humble. The Hindenburg was, at its best, a fantastic contraption…
In the same world where you're a miserable little person who has nothing better to do than be an asshole. Oh wait...that's this world.
Yeah... Apple computers: Unsuccessfully going out of business for almost 40 years...
