Excellent news! I've always felt like the lack of fart jokes & nonsensical plots really held this franchise back.

That's why I specifically mentioned the casual stuff like greenies. Things that countered the natural power drain that comes with playing the grind of 150+ games a season. Obviously players are still using PEDs because they're still getting suspended for it.

I'm in the same age group so we grew up on the same baseball. I think it has merits beyond that though. It's good for the league & small market teams who really depend on being able to develop stars that will fill seats if those players can have sustained success & marketability. I think a league where "star" hitters

I was watching a game recently (can't remember who the broadcasters were) & they were talking about how offense is really down & they touched on what you said about trying to hit away from the shift & utilize more of the field. The ex-player analyst said that a lot of the position players that have entered the league

Ape got in too many petty pissing contests too. At least before I stopped paying attention to him.

Right. It's like an acceptable professional version of companies who abuse the intern system.

But if "the heart wants what the heart wants", does this not prove that love is more alive than ever?!

Yeah. "The Monsters Are Due On Maple Street" doesn't leave the chilling effect because ultimately you'd have to live in the dumbest neighborhood in the world for shit to get that bad in a few hours. Most of the movies, shows & books about humanity destroyed in the wake of the apocalypse or global disaster really nail

If you want a good chuckle/migraine read the comments here.

Kim Kardashian: Hollywood stopped working for some players. Given the game's popularity—it's currently the number one free game on iTunes—

Before you know it this movie will have been released, thoroughly trashed & defended inanely with infrequent comments typically beginning with "Not getting all the hate for (name of shitty thing no one likes)...". Also, unless it's so beyond awful that it merits comparisons with future awful movies on the release

Hey cool! I'm a pretty big fan of stuff that makes sense!

Marvel's press release quotes writer Jason Aaron as saying: "This is not She-Thor. This is not Lady Thor. This is not Thorita. This is Thor. This is the Thor of the Marvel Universe. But it's unlike any Thor we've ever seen before.

Around the time CK went on his rant about the testing, someone else I follow talked about how he got burned out from that kind of culture & between 9th-11th grade went from routine A+'s to mostly C's & B's. He said guidance counselors were constantly telling him & his parents he was throwing his future away but he had

A friend of mine had an installation guy tell him (for reasons I can't remember) he couldn't install cable & internet at his apartment & Comcast still fought him on it when he called to "cancel" & even sent him 2 bills.

There was really nothing to lose for them, so I'm surprised these never happened. Fans have proven that pretty much 99% of the time they'll purchase whatever shit has their team logo on it no matter how fucking hideous it looks.

Dude, I get like triple that IN A DAY burying bodies for Google.

So they play "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" when one of THEIR players gets beaned? Do they make sure the guy isn't injured first?

I enjoyed it but holy shit was it packed with eye rolling moments. The topper being Eph "LOL to jail with you, old crazy man who is saying things that are alarmingly relevant to the bizarre & mysterious plague that wiped out a plane full of people."

I think the real anger from LeBron leaving the Heat would come in the fall when the actual fans have to keep hearing people ask "Where's LeBron? *points to nearest black man* Is THAT him?" from the other 80% of the fan base. The ones who might not even be aware they won a championship in 2006, just "the 4 straight
