Except for the inconvenient fact that “thing” refers to the object you’re... well... referring to, and a “Smurf” is a blue cartoon turd. Otherwise yes exactly the same.

Same, here in Portland enthusiast tend to spend their money on paint, wheels, aesthetic mods, and engine upgrades. I’ve seen maybe three cars like this in 12-years (thank you Jeebuz).

Awesome contact patch bro. I enjoyed seeing that Virginia Slims-like ribbon of tire smoke peeling off one thin section of the tires. Must be great in the wet.

Oh snap! The Charger version of this was a huge letdown when my mother showed up with her newly-purchased one. She didn’t give a shit about engines or performance or handling but would buy whatever shape she liked and this apparently appealed to her. I remember how the steering wheel pad looked like a child had shaped

My dad used to tell me back then that the GLH meant “Goes Like Hell.” I believed him and haven't thought about it again until today. Hmmmmmmmm...

Pry it from my cold dead hands!!!

Whaaaa? Where can I find this story? Sounds like a hell of a read.

So on board with this. I also usually have my sunglasses hanging from my shirt collar when not wearing them at an event and will always grab them to hold in my hands as well so they won’t fall off while I bend over for a closer peek. Likewise it’s almost more of a deferential thing for the owner’s comfort than actual

I disagree with Patrick on the touching cars thing but the Camaro was a press car, so why should he think it was a big deal? Manufacturers understand fully well that these things will get thrashed to within inches of their lives, and sometimes beyond. If it’s a semi-expected outcome from the owners themselves, I don’t

I disagree with your statement but I like your style. OK, you can touch me too.

This could have easily and tragically turned into a National Lampoon’s Vacation moment.

Booger factories? Nope, not in my game plan. My dogs are my kids and I don’t like strangers touching them either.

I kinda agree with that actually. Of course I live in Portland where we have lots of parks and lots of “characters” that inhabit them. Don’t get me started on state park/beach bathrooms.

To me that’s like saying: “Don’t want your kids touched? Don’t bring them to large, free range, people filled playgrounds!”

Not entirely sure why this is controversial, she clearly explained why its poor form and the potential for actual damage, not just fingerprints. Do you guys all run around touching cars at events, especially concours? WHY do you even NEED to touch the cars? Crimini Crackmas!!!

I fully realize I am totally in the minority here but I can’t get into these. They just don’t look like the real cars to me, there’s just so much that’s wrong and off with the shape that my brain can’t connect the dots. I don’t even like when shut lines are cast-in too wide on regular model cars so I have a different

Yours wasn't???

I also work in music management and I go after people all day long for using my client’s beats samples, vocals, etc., in their music & videos so I fully understand IP rights. Taking a photo of a car you’re not supposed to isn’t, in itself, illegal. There are dozens of things we need to know before we can even make

Fun stuff, looking forward to more from Brian!
