This is what makes Tesla is the *most important* auto maker in the world. They are the model for car manufacture in the future, not just because they should all be this responsive but because they put people over dollars.

I have had two cars that had three different oddball “deposit” situations involving them. The first was my ‘76 Jaguar (written about here) where I had a buyer come by and want to make payments on the car, which I agreed to with a deposit and with the understanding that he could not take the car until it was paid for.…

My now-deceased grandfather also flew bombers in the Pacific (both theaters actually as well as the Korean War) and man did he have some stories.
